Great Fun at the 2009 DeLand Bike Rally
My Angel With Paws made quite a showing at the 2009 DeLand Bike Rally on the 28th of February. The puppies were absolutely exausted after seeing so many wonderful people. Thank you all who gave donations and/or requested more information.
Tabris (a labrador puppy in training) loved visiting with a biker before he rode out for a ride on his motorcycle. She especially loved the snuggles and kiss.

Garage Sale held March 2009
March 14 - 15th a Garage Sale was held benefiting My Angel With Paws. Due to all of the wonderful people in our community and surrounding areas who donated so many items for the sale, it was a TREMENDOUS success, bringing in $2850. Because of the funds raised, we were able to print flyers, brochures, join our local Chamber of Commerce, obtain insurance and begin equipping the office.
We had a fantastic time meeting all of the people who donated merchandise and shopped the garage sale. Garage Sale shoppers enjoyed the antics of the newest Angels in Training while they browsed. A number of shoppers have become Volunteers and Puppy Raisers for My Angel With Paws.

Diversity Day 2009
Diversity Day officially known as World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialog and Development, is an opportunity to help our communities to understand the value of cultural diversity and learn how to live together in harmony.
It was held at NAWC Training Systems Division in Orlando, Florida on April 30, 2009. My Angel With Paws was invited to participate with the Disability booth.
Deland Business Expo 2009
The Deland Business Expo was held May 2, 2009 at the clubhouse at Victoria Gardens/Shea Homes. The event was hosted by the Deland Chamber of Commerce. Our volunteers and Angels in Training made many new friends. There were exhibitors of all kinds, drawings, giveaways and free seminars for all who attended. The Expo was Huge success with a great number of exhibitors and many more in attendance. Community support was wonderful.
This was a great opportunity for My Angel With Paws to meet businesses and residents in the area and let them know about the important job that our Volunteers and Service Dogs do in their community. We wish to thank everyone for stopping by to see us. We also wish to thank all of our new volunteers and puppy raisers and welcome them to My Angel With Paws.
