This is one of the toughest jobs we have - This is also the most rewarding job. These Angels in Training will "totally" change the life of a disabled individual.

While your puppy grows and learns, you are also learning. You will be taught all of the skills necessary to complete your "mission" - and have a lot of fun too. By attending My Angel With Paws training classes, you will get training and assistance with every stage of your puppies development and training.

Become a Member of My Angel With Paws

Becoming a Member of My Angel With Paws provides the opportunity for you to help the organization in a variety of ways. Members of My Angel With Paws will help shape the future of the organization.

My Angel With Paws Members are encouraged to participate in committees created to fulfill certain needs within the organization. These committees need your knowledge and experience to carry out the tasks assigned to it. All kinds of knowledge and experience are needed. JOIN US TODAY !

Committees include:

Clerical - General office work including filing, data entry, copying, printing, phones, follow up calls, etc.

Promotional Items - All aspects of My Angel With Paws promotional items. Take orders for shirts, hats, etc. - order the shirts - arrange the embroidery - deliver and collect monies due. All vendors are established for this committee.

Construction - Many training items can be built (which saves a lot of money). The "BIG" project will be to renovate the existing building into the indoor training facility that will also house the My Angel With Paws offices. What Fun !

Events - Research and arrange for future events that educate the community about the role service dogs for the mobility disabled. Some events may be fundraisers.

Sewing - Our Angels in Training all wear a vest to designate them as service dogs in training, so we need a variety of sizes, from puppy to adult. We have designed a vest for the My Angels With Paws puppies and dogs - if you would like to assist with this important and enormous task - this is your committee.

Fundraising - There are many ways to raise money to fund the work done at My Angel With Paws. This committee will research, and carry out the fundraisers that will be the financial foundation of our organization.

Research - This committee will research topics assigned to provide the organization with "good, solid" information - this assists all areas of the organization.

Recruitment - Create and maintain methods for recruitment of new members, puppy raiser/trainers and volunteers. This is a community organization designed for community involvement.

Acquisitions - There are many business partners that would love to donate to their community also. This committee will establish those relationships and acquire donations of every sort - items that will be used in Auctions and/or Sales, items to be used for the organization & items/discounts used for the membership.

You can join the membership with My Angel With Paws for an annual donation of $10.00 ($15.00 Family).

You will be encouraged to attend committee meetings and membership meetings to discuss and/or vote on items of interest to the organization.

Your membership will entitle you to discounts at local business supporters (more coming) and allow you to use your knowledge and experience to enhance your community. ** All members receive discounted Pet Dog Class fees.

Volunteer to help at Events

My Angel With Paws can always use a helping hand at any of the events in our community in which we participate. An hour or all-day -- your assistance is always welcome and appreciated.
